We run a theatre with a permanent company focusing on drama and comedy. We rent out the auditorium and revolving auditorium.

The revolving auditorium is one of the leading European open-air theatre venues. Performances staged in the summer months in front of the revolving auditorium in the garden of the Český Krumlov castle are selected across the repertoire of drama, opera and ballet. Four professional ensembles of the South Bohemian Theatre perform here.

The bowels of the modern foyer conceal the entrance to a magnificent historic Empire theatre interior with a beautiful painted curtain, the oldest working one in the country. The building itself has stood here since 1833 and is one of the oldest bourgeois theatres ever built. It is named after the Czech playwright and actor J. K. Tyl.

An international independent theatre group based and performing in South Bohemia, in the former farmstead Švestkový Dvůr. During its thirty years of existence, the theatre has created over fifty productions and theatre projects.

The Hořice Passion Plays are an important cultural heritage that has far exceeded the borders not only of the Český Krumlov region and Šumava, but also of our homeland.

Author theatre, drama, exhibitions, talks, workshops, author readings - this is our main focus. But we certainly don't put limits on imagination. We are an association that was founded in 2002 out of the enthusiasm of university students, but we are not affiliated to the University of South Bohemia. There is also a gallery within the organisation.

The operation of a municipal theatre with a theatre hall with a capacity of 280 seats. Offer rentals of the theatre space.

We operate a puppet theatre. We perform classical fairy tales and original fairy tales, biblical stories or sand tales. Our repertoire includes puppet and java performances or marionettes and guided puppets.

A touring theatre with a nationwide presence. We perform for children in schools, kindergartens, theatres, community centres and other cultural venues. Under certain conditions we can also play outdoors. Performances are drama, without puppets.
