Organisation of theatre performances.

We organize puppet theatre performances for children and adults, concerts and professional seminars on puppets. We organize a national show of amateur puppetry. Our seminars focus on puppet and body manipulation, puppet making, the use of music in theatre and other topics.

We operate a theatre with a capacity of 100 seats. We organize regular theatre performances. The theatre is also used for rehearsals of various theatre groups.

The theatre performs plays by local and international playwrights, with around eight premieres a year. The theatre building was built in 1909 according to the design of architect Antonín Balšánek. The theatre company performs on the domestic stage as well as on tours and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad. Costume rental is available.

Amateur theatre ensemble performing in theatres, cultural houses and halls in East Bohemia. In Pardubice we play most often at the EXIL Theatre.

Theatre operations.

We are a non-professional repertory theatre. We have been active on the cultural scene in Pardubice for more than 20 years. We have staged over 100 premieres and regularly win awards at theatre shows. We perform plays by Czech and international playwrights as well as our own original performances. We also organize concerts and exhibitions.

Professional Theatre Di will entertain children and adult audiences. We offer performances for children and adults. Our children's shows are built with the child's psychological and emotional development in mind and we follow the rules of dramatic story.
