Folklore Without Borders Ostrava (FBHO) is an international folklore festival that brings together ensembles from different countries every year. It offers a varied programme of traditional music, dance and costumes in the streets of Ostrava. The aim is to promote cultural diversity, friendship and the preservation of folk traditions for the general public.

We offer fencing and theatre performances from the Gothic, Renaissance, Thirty Years War and Napoleonic periods including firearms demonstrations. We show sword fights with swords, rapiers, cords and sabres, as well as authentic handling of cannons and muskets.
