The Baroque chateau has undergone an interesting architectural development that reflects the dramatic history of Horažďovice. The Baroque chateau was built under Jan Antonín Vratislav of Mitrovice in 1719-23 by rebuilding the original Renaissance fortress. It is a rectangular two-storey building with a mansard roof, a turret and a balcony. The castle also includes a small park. Currently, the main wing of the castle is open to the public. It is used for weddings.
