Tours of the castle. According to local findings, a Great Moravian hillfort existed near the castle in the 8th - 9th century. The castle was an important stronghold of the Přemyslids. It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.

In the middle of the 16th century it underwent an early Renaissance reconstruction. The castle was built in the first half of the 18th century. Tours of the Baroque chateau where the films The Red Nosed Reindeer, Angel Face and Undying Love were filmed. We operate a neo-Gothic castle which we have secured and opened to the public. Extensive repairs are still underway. The chateau also includes the chateau park, the former Rudolec brewery, granary, back of house inn, cross road, smithy, orangery, chateau keeper's building, stables and the Vrzalák pond.
