Offering tours of castle ruins. In 2002, the government of the Czech Republic recognized the uniqueness of the castle ruin and declared it a national cultural monument.

Tours of the castle. According to local findings, a Great Moravian hillfort existed near the castle in the 8th - 9th century. The castle was an important stronghold of the Přemyslids. It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.

In the middle of the 16th century it underwent an early Renaissance reconstruction. Originally a late Gothic water fortress, it was rebuilt and extended in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. Nowadays, the castle is used for exhibition purposes and is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
