The castle is located in the Plumlovská Dam recreational area. We organize cultural and sports events, tours of the castle, exhibitions, concerts of musical groups, theatre, festivals, demonstrations of historical fencing.

Castle founded at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, declared a national cultural monument in 1999. It acquired the appearance of a romantic mansion with battlements, bay windows, loopholes and gargoyles after extensive reconstruction. The fairy tales The Princess Jasněnka and the Flying Shoemaker, The Kingdom of the Streams and Ondřej the Bear were filmed here.

We offer guided tours of the castle with its 96 metre high tower including exhibition displays. We provide rental of the castle park for cultural and social events.

You can visit the Empire Castle as a historical monument or use the premises for wedding ceremonies, receptions and banquets for 100 people, concerts and exhibitions. We offer guided tours with costumed guides, fencing performances, catering, and fireworks.
