The Museum of the Bohemian Countryside, a branch of the National Museum of Agriculture, is housed in Kačina Castle, one of the most important Empire buildings in the Czech Republic. The historically highly valued castle complex currently has a great breadth of use with 4 basic touring exhibitions and 10 castle suites. A new restaurant and café have found their place in the castle. The chateau in Světlá nad Sázavou is open all year round, including Mondays and holidays.
