The ruins of a Gothic castle, named after the hill on which it was built in the second half of the 13th century. The first written mention dates back to 1318. Remains of several fortifications, buildings and the castle tower have been preserved until today. The only building that has survived in a better condition is the purgatory, which is now a museum.

The Cistercian monks from the 13th century, the brilliant architect J. B. Santini Aichel or the current owners of the castle, the Kinský family, have written an extremely interesting history here. In the rococo castle you will see an exhibition of furniture art and private rooms of the owners. We organize romantic wedding ceremonies. There is a castle park with a cloister and a stable with riding lessons.

We offer tours of four richly equipped historical routes and the adjacent castle park. For example, the fairy tales The Most Beautiful Riddle and The Magic of Kings were filmed in the castle. During the year, the castle organises cultural events.
