It acquired the appearance of a romantic mansion with battlements, bay windows, loopholes and gargoyles after extensive reconstruction. The fairy tales The Princess Jasněnka and the Flying Shoemaker, The Kingdom of the Streams and Ondřej the Bear were filmed here.

The chateau's exhibition offers an alchemist's laboratory, a medieval torture chamber, treasures of Moravská Třebová and an exhibition How Life Was in the Country.
