The neoclassical castle was built in the first half of the 18th century. The chateau building is part of a baroque complex consisting of the chateau building, an ash yard and a park. In 2005 it was bought by our company, which completely renovated the castle and placed its exposition.

Originally an impregnable gothic fortress founded by Benesovice 700 years ago. Since 1887 the magnificent residence of the heir to the Austrian throne, Franz Ferdinand d'Este. We offer interiors with rich collections - Esten collection of weapons, hunting trophies, saint's collection. Possibility to organize a wedding ceremony.

We offer castle tours, entertainment and commercial events and accommodation in apartments. In the summer months we perform theatre. The castle has been the setting for the series Hop or Trop and the film Our Grandfather Joseph.

The first mention of the castle dates back to 1348, according to archaeological findings, the building stood here as early as the late 13th or early 14th century.
