The Cistercian monks from the 13th century, the brilliant architect J. B. Santini Aichel or the current owners of the castle, the Kinský family, have written an extremely interesting history here. Offering tours of the castle, gothic chapel and extensive cellars. Lipnice Castle was founded around 1310, by one of the branches of the ancient Bohemian family of Ronovec - Lichtenburg. The first direct mention of Lipnice Castle appears in 1314. Possibility of organizing weddings.

The historically highly valued castle complex currently has a great breadth of use with 4 basic touring exhibitions and 10 castle suites. A new restaurant and café have found their place in the castle. The chateau in Světlá nad Sázavou is open all year round, including Mondays and holidays.

We provide exhibitions and lectures. We are dedicated to organizing programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. Regular visitors can use a loyalty card. A part of the zoological depository with stuffed birds, mammals, fish and amphibians and trophies from hunting expeditions is open to the public.

Offering tours of the castle. Telč Castle is one of the jewels of Moravian Renaissance architecture. Its owner Zacharias of Hradec had the original Gothic castle turned into a Renaissance mansion in the 16th century. The reconstruction took place in two stages under the direction of Italian masters. It is possible to organize weddings.
