The castle was built in the first half of the 18th century. Tours of the Baroque chateau where the films The Red Nosed Reindeer, Angel Face and Undying Love were filmed. The first written mention of the settlement of the site of today's chateau dates back to 1234. It is possible to organize weddings, seminars, receptions and concerts.

Tours of the castle. According to local findings, a Great Moravian hillfort existed near the castle in the 8th - 9th century. The castle was an important stronghold of the Přemyslids. It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.

Offering castle tours. The core of the castle consists of a massive rectangular building, surrounded by later additions. Originally a late Gothic water fortress, it was rebuilt and extended in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. Nowadays, the castle is used for exhibition purposes and is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

Offering tours of castle ruins. In 2002, the government of the Czech Republic recognized the uniqueness of the castle ruin and declared it a national cultural monument.
