The castle was built in the first half of the 18th century. Tours of the Baroque chateau where the films The Red Nosed Reindeer, Angel Face and Undying Love were filmed. Its owner Zacharias of Hradec had the original Gothic castle turned into a Renaissance mansion in the 16th century. The reconstruction took place in two stages under the direction of Italian masters. Tours of the castle. According to local findings, a Great Moravian hillfort existed near the castle in the 8th - 9th century. The castle was an important stronghold of the Přemyslids. It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.
