We offer tours of the Renaissance castle, where the fairy tales The Emperor and the Tambor and The Magic Purse were filmed. Náměšt' was founded in the valley of the Oslava River around 1220. The first written mention of the settlement of the site of today's chateau dates back to 1234. It is possible to organize weddings, seminars, receptions and concerts.

We provide exhibitions and lectures. We are dedicated to organizing programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. Regular visitors can use a loyalty card. A part of the zoological depository with stuffed birds, mammals, fish and amphibians and trophies from hunting expeditions is open to the public.

In the place where the Svratka River bites into the rocky peaks of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the construction of a massive castle began in the 13th century. Originally a late Gothic water fortress, it was rebuilt and extended in the 16th century in the Renaissance style.
