The regional gallery focuses on the presentation of contemporary art and the work of painter Josef Jambor. The collection of his works is presented within its own programme or on loan to other institutions. It supports young and medium-sized artists with an emphasis on the phenomenon of landscape. Offers exhibitions, educational and community programs.

In our gallery we offer unique minerals from Czech and Moravian localities including unique calcites and geode amethysts. We focus on the quality, aesthetics and rarity of each exhibit. The open depository offers not only a storage of collections, but also a look behind the scenes of museum work. Visitors will see experts digitizing and conserving art, including previously unexhibited works. Guided tours and workshops are planned.

Jurkovič's villa is one of the most important architectural monuments of the turn of the 19th and 20th century in Brno. You can visit the villa during guided tours, which take place every hour.

The Wittal family’s functionalist villa was built in 1932 based on a design by architect Heinrich Blum. Over time, the Wittal family home became the residence of Nazi officers, later of Communist city officials, and eventually an apartment building. The villa is currently awaiting a complete renovation.
