The exhibition features 90 life-size handmade fairy tale characters with fairy tale backdrops and a children's playroom. Together with an exhibition of historical carriages and paper models or an exhibition of beekeeping, Skalka Castle and Chateau offers a great opportunity for an attractive trip in the heart of the Bohemian Central Highlands.

We operate a gallery. There are over 250 puppets and fairy-tale decorations. Children can play with some of them and try what it is like to be a puppeteer.

The North Bohemian Art Gallery in Litoměřice manages and makes accessible collections of Czech art. It focuses on the period from the 14th century to the present day and on insite art. We operate a gallery. We offer exhibitions of free art, photography, handmade paper, sculpture or painting. Exhibitors are mostly our own and foreign professionals. In the exhibition programme there are also pupils of the Litoměřice School of Fine Arts and students of art colleges.

The building of the rectory was reconstructed with the help of a grant from the Ministry of Regional Development, a sponsorship donation from ČEZ and the municipal budget. The premises are used for social and cultural events and the "Vojtěch Preissig Gallery" is located here.

During World War II, this building was a home for Jewish boys (10-15 years old). Nowadays there is a museum with an exhibition about the history of the ghetto and the persecution of Jews in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the youngest victims of the ghetto.

The museum is located in the building of the former Magdeburg Barracks, which served as the headquarters of the so-called Jewish Self-Government during the ghetto era. Today, this building houses extensive exhibitions presenting to the public the unique artistic, musical, literary and theatrical works of the ghetto inhabitants.

The gallery organizes exhibitions of contemporary art. For the current exhibition it provides gallery animations for school and other groups (by appointment). The accompanying programme for exhibitions includes art courses, lectures, concerts.
