The trail is a unique national trail and the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, welcoming its first visitors on 10 July 2012. The trail is sensitively integrated into the landscape around Lake Lipno and is a unique addition to Lipno.

You're going to join us on a trip. We don't have permanent opening hours all year round, but we don't want to deprive you of the view. We're open every day in July and August. If you want to visit us outside of those months and we're closed, just give us a call at the phone number listed and we'll be happy to come unlock it for you.

The lookout tower with a tourist hut on the highest peak of the Černostudní ridge (869 m) was built in 1905. The viewing platform is located at a height of 26 m. A total of 91 steps lead up.

Štěpánka is a stone neo-Gothic lookout tower on Hvězda Hill in the western Krkonoše Mountains, on Příchovice Ridge. The lookout tower is 24 m high and has 81 steps.
