The Museum of Butchery is a unique experiential museum in the heart of the Wallachia region. At every turn, the museum recalls the exceptional position of the butchery craft in the Wallachia region and refers to the excellent quality of local sausage and meat products. The hall can be rented for a whole day, for example for training.

The museum presents the history of Shenov with the aim of preserving the testimony of the work of the ancestors.

We offer an exhibition about the life of the inhabitants of Cholina in the past and present. There are various historical documents or archaeological finds from the village and its surroundings.

In the remains of the metallurgical complex there is an exposition of the iron industry of the central part of the Moravian Karst. The ground floor of the building is devoted to the beginnings of iron metallurgy, while the first floor focuses on the blast furnaces and especially the actual building and operation of the smelter. There are also moving models installed here.

The pilgrimage complex with a monumental church was built in the 18th century by the monastery of Plasz. The architectural concept of J. B. Santini was completed in 2021 with the unique addition of a second ambulatory. This national cultural monument is the seat of the Museum and Gallery of Northern Pilsen. The surrounding landscape bears the prestigious European Heritage designation.

The world’s largest certified collection of elephant-themed items, recognized by the World Records Community. You’ll see over 23,500 elephants, ranging from 0.6 cm miniatures to 2-meter-tall figures. We’ve been building this collection for over 25 years. Children accompanied by their parents get free admission—we don’t penalize parents for having kids. Have a wonderful day!

We operate a listed site of original vernacular architecture. The environment is suitable for folk festivals, exhibitions, fairs and social events with accompanying folklore programme. We allow wedding receptions, family celebrations and corporate events.
