We run a museum focusing on the history of the area around Nýrsko and Strážov. We present an exposition of castles of the Pilsen region or an exposition of Professor Antonín Knight Randa. We deal with the history of the town from the 12th century to the present and folk stories of the region.

Mineral Museum with a comprehensive collection of minerals from Šumava and Pošumava. The collection of mineral finds of one collector has been exhibited for 11 years, in the small entrance shop you can buy minerals, books and jewellery.

The Museum of Central Pootaví Strakonice is located in the grounds of Strakonice Castle, which was founded by the Bavarian family from Strakonice in the first quarter of the 13th century.
