We run a museum focusing on the history of the area around Nýrsko and Strážov. We present an exposition of castles of the Pilsen region or an exposition of Professor Antonín Knight Randa. We deal with the history of the town from the 12th century to the present and folk stories of the region.

A former tin mine. Mining has been documented here since the 16th century. In a number of areas, the walls can be seen to be pockmarked with the grooves left by the handcuffs and spikes of the miners of the time, as well as ceilings and walls stained black from soot that settled when the fire was set.

The Kingdom of the Rose - the museum of the Vitkovec family points to a time when the Czech Kingdom was one of the strongest state formations in Europe and when a third of Europe tried to speak Czech. In addition to the museum's interesting collections, you will get to know the building itself, which is a technical monument and an example of industrial purpose-built architecture from the late 19th century.
