The Museum of Central Pootaví Strakonice is located in the grounds of Strakonice Castle, which was founded by the Bavarian family from Strakonice in the first quarter of the 13th century. We operate a museum. The museum's permanent exhibition is dedicated to the history of the spa industry and the pre-war and post-war history of the village of Lipová-lázně. A former tin mine. Mining has been documented here since the 16th century. In a number of areas, the walls can be seen to be pockmarked with the grooves left by the handcuffs and spikes of the miners of the time, as well as ceilings and walls stained black from soot that settled when the fire was set.
