The Prácheň Museum has been housed in the historic building of the former royal castle since 1902. The museum represents the cultural and natural heritage of the Prague Region and Písek. The museum also includes a professional library, a museum shop and an accompanying programme of lectures and events for the public.

The chateau houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the early years of Smetana's work. We operate a museum. There is an exhibition of the history of the town. We organize openings or exhibitions. We also have an exhibition showing the changes in the everyday life of the town's inhabitants.

Homeland history exhibition for the Prague-West district, specialising in gold mining in the Czech Republic. Possibility to visit a mine adit from the times of gold mining. Visitors can use an educational trail. We are also engaged in publishing activities. It is possible to rent a multipurpose hall with a capacity of 120 people.

The Blatná City Museum is located in the historic centre of Blatná in a pink building at 212 Míru Square near the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and near the Blatná Castle. On the 1st floor of this building there are exhibition spaces, where you will find the permanent exhibition Museum of All Senses and various short-term exhibitions.
