We are a contributory organization of the Moravian-Silesian Region, combining the mission of a regional museum and the administration of monuments, which are important immovable cultural monuments of northern Moravia - Bruntál Castle, Sovinec Castle and the mowing plant in Karlovice in Silesia. The museum is located in the Bruntál castle.

It depicts the history of the region from prehistoric times to the 19th century, textile industry, metal mining, geology of southern Jesenik.
