The Firefighters' Museum is mainly focused on the technology, equipment, armament and history of the fire brigades from the Pošumava region. The museum also has an exhibition on the history of the Stach.

Here you will find a museum of traditional village life and farming in the 2nd half of the 19th century. The museum is located in the premises of the former cattle stables, the larger objects are in the yard of the farm. Horse riding is offered.

We run an exposition of the exotic world of insects, the world under the sea, the world of mountains, savannahs, deserts and the shores of rivers and lakes or the world of forests and seashores. We exhibit an interactive map of Protivín, prehistoric and early medieval settlements or samples of urban everyday life at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The museum is located in a house that belonged to the famous Abel glass family. The basis of the exhibition consists of furniture, paintings and crockery from their family estate. The glass on display comes mainly from the Abel glassworks. The exposition also recalls the tradition of the pottery and the death boards are also interesting.
