A museum dedicated to the life’s work of sculptor, painter, and performance artist Lubo Kristek, housed in an iconic building with a piano on the roof. Seven exhibition halls devoted to Surrealism. Over 60 years of surrealist Kristek’s work through historical upheavals: sculptures, assemblages, paintings, and relics from his legendary happenings. Guided tours.

The museum presents nearly three dozen crafts and trades. Among the uniquenesses are the preserved workshops of a sawmill, a pearler and a cooper. In addition, the museum offers an exhibition of the history of the town and the castle, which shows how the last owners of the estate, the Counts Wallis and Schaffgotsch, lived.

The Museum of Highlands Jihlava, Telč branch collects, manages, professionally uses and makes accessible historical and natural history collections. It organises thematic exhibitions, lectures for the public, lectures and educational programmes for primary and kindergartens.
