We provide exhibitions, lectures and permanent displays. We organize programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. We publish two international scientific journals, monographs and proceedings.

The museum can be found in the Renaissance scholastery in the main square. It preserves and documents the memory of the eastern Brno region. It prepares thematically diverse exhibitions for its visitors, always accompanied by a playroom or a programme for children.

A museum dedicated to the life’s work of sculptor, painter, and performance artist Lubo Kristek, housed in an iconic building with a piano on the roof. Seven exhibition halls devoted to Surrealism. The museum in Ivančice is one of the oldest regional museums in Moravia. The museum now welcomes visitors to the exhibition spaces at Oslavany Castle, where temporary exhibitions on a wide variety of topics are held throughout the year. Oslavany Castle also houses a permanent lapidarium exhibition.
