We operate a museum with permanent exhibitions dedicated to the life and work of Jiří Wolker, archaeology of Prostějov region or historical clocks and watches. We also provide short-term exhibitions.

The museum has a permanent exhibition of relics of Swabian ancestors.

Permanent exhibition of customs and crafts with rare exhibits. There are crafts that have a long tradition in Konicek, for example: brewing, milling, blacksmithing, witchcraft, weaving, tailoring and many others. Here you will see the largest collection of axes in the Czech Republic.

Exposition of folk architecture in Haná. The collection is a unique evidence of earthen folk architecture from the Haná region, which is represented mainly by 4 pallet barns from the first half of the 19th century and a complete Haná farmhouse with a residential and farm part from 1875, followed by gardens.

In the museum building you can visit the permanent exhibitions as well as interesting short-term exhibitions, creative workshops, programs for school children and youth, lectures and conferences all year round.

The museum can be found in the Renaissance scholastery in the main square. It preserves and documents the memory of the eastern Brno region. It prepares thematically diverse exhibitions for its visitors, always accompanied by a playroom or a programme for children.

The Botany Department deals with systematics and phytogeography of higher plants, fungi and bryophytes. It carries out documentation of these systematic groups with emphasis on Central and Southern Europe. The library and herbarium are open to the professional public. The services of the Mushroom Advisory Service are available to the general public.

We operate an archive of books, correspondence and manuscripts of writers and otherwise culturally active figures whose work was mostly produced in opposition to the former communist regime. You will find here the archives of Pavel Kohout, Jiří Gruša, Ota Filip, Lumír KUchař and Jan Trefulka.

We run a museum with an exhibition depicting rural life in the first half of the last century. Mainly farm machinery and tools are on display, but also a display of rural living including household furnishings.

The memorial was built in honour of the victims of the Battle of Austerlitz, as intended by the priest and teacher Alois Slovák in fulfilment of his vision to make the centre of the former battlefield. We provide exhibitions, lectures and permanent displays. We organize programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. We publish two international scientific journals, monographs and proceedings. Regular visitors can use a loyalty card.
