Exhibiting historical, ethnographic and art collections, specialising in photographs and models of roads and bridges. There is information on important people and natives of the town.

We operate a museum with an exposition focused on folk culture and crafts of the Moravian Highlands. We focus on glassmaking, ironwork and the history of the town. In the grounds of the national cultural monument Cistercian Abbey Porta Coeli in Předklášteří you will find a museum with permanent exhibitions and short-term exhibitions in the building of the former provost's office. The premises of the monastery church, now the parish church, are open at hourly intervals.

Expositions in the premises of the former water mill refer to the iron tradition of the Žďár region. Visitors will learn how medieval ironworkers obtained the basic raw materials, i.e. wood, charcoal and iron. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the last inhabitants of the building, the Brdíček family.

We run a butchery museum. We offer guided tours about the butchery trade. There are machines and tools used in the past in the production of sausages. Our exhibits include cutters, cues, fridges, bone saws, grinders, crackling presses and axes. We also carry coin cutters, knives and cleavers.

We exhibit original examples of the art of printing from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, books from the famous Prague printers Veleslavín and Melantrich, the first edition of Blagoslav's translation of the New Testament, individual volumes of the Royal Bible and the original of Comenius' famous map of Moravia from 1627, and more.
