The museum was opened on 17 November 2021 in the reconstructed building of the former Tatra foundry and presents a unique collection of 81 Tatra trucks and chassis on an area of more than 5,000 m2. The core is the original collection of Jiří Hlach, a private collector, which Tatra acquired in 2015.

The current exposition of the museum (formerly called the Tatra Technical Museum) consists of a typologically compact collection of passenger cars, with which the Tatra automobile company made its mark in the world history of automotive engineering in the 20th century.

We offer tours of a declassified bunker from the 1970s. The former military facility served as a strategic telephone exchange. It used to house communications cables. The flagship cable was designed to carry up to 1,920 calls at a time and provide communication between Warsaw Pact countries in wartime. The building was top secret.

We are restoring the historic Kalinův mlýn mill. You can visit guided tours, enjoy an original "escape" based on real events, stay in the miller's apartment, use the services of an experienced realtor or come to a concert or a show. Our goal is to bring the mill to life for the public.
