The museum focuses mainly on the history of transport, the industrial and technological past and the present of the region. The glassworks was founded in 1796. Production was closed in 2002. Since 2005 the glassworks has been accessible as a unique glass museum, which was declared a National Cultural Monument in 2014. In 2016, the production was restored, which takes place mainly during the main tourist season.
