We operate a museum focusing on historical objects and artifacts from the area. The permanent exhibition contains prehistoric and medieval tools and everyday objects.

In the museum there is an exhibition of the history of the postal industry in our territory from 1526 to the present day. There is a collection of 19th century carriages, carts and sleighs, historical postal uniforms, mailboxes, payroll and ploughing machines.

Operation of a display of passion plays and radios.

The chateau interiors were decorated by the painter F. J. Prokyš and enriched with ingenious optical illusions. The combination of optical illusions with a masterpiece of painting and perfect acoustics is unique and unparalleled. The chateau premises are open for tours and are rented for weddings and other social events.

The Art Nouveau photo studio tells the story of the beginnings of photography, the turbulent fate of the pioneers of the craft and the photographic chronicle of the Czech-German-Austrian borderlands of the late 19th and first half of the 20th century. You will see old pictures of Šumava, Český Krumlov and the surrounding area.

Restored house where Egon Schiele lived and worked in 1911.

On more than 600 m², you will be transported back in time. You will walk through an exhibition of historical crafts, feel the atmosphere of an old inn, admire alchemists' workshops and the Rosenbergs and experience other unforgettable encounters with great Czech and world political and cultural figures.

We run an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Adalbert Stifter. We organize short-term seasonal exhibitions and other cultural and social events.

Operation of a museum of torture instruments.

Operation of the exhibition of torture law and torture instruments. We exhibit about 100 exhibits and dozens of period engravings. The exhibition also includes wax figures placed in an authentic environment, sound and above all two special audiovisual effects.

The Museum of Movie Legends features more than 530 exhibits of various sizes, a Statue Collectibles gift shop, refreshments, and seating in the unique world of the most famous movie, comic book, and fairy tale heroes.

The Museum of Commerce rebuilds the rich merchant history for visitors. In the collection you can admire collectibles from the late 19th and early 20th century, including a preserved merchant's shop. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Museum of Commerce also offers the sale of original souvenirs.
