The Prácheň Museum has been housed in the historic building of the former royal castle since 1902. The museum represents the cultural and natural heritage of the Prague Region and Písek. The Blatná City Museum is located in the historic centre of Blatná in a pink building at 212 Míru Square near the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and near the Blatná Castle. On the 1st floor of this building there are exhibition spaces, where you will find the permanent exhibition Museum of All Senses and various short-term exhibitions.

The Museum of Central Pootaví Strakonice is located in the grounds of Strakonice Castle, which was founded by the Bavarian family from Strakonice in the first quarter of the 13th century. Since 1995 the castle has been a national cultural monument. The museum offers a number of permanent exhibitions - Order of the Knights of Malta, Czech Armoury, Bagpipes and Bagpipe Traditions.

The memorial was built on an authentic site where the so-called gypsy camp operated in 1942 and 1943. Entire families of Czech Roma and Sinti were forcibly concentrated here before being transported to Auschwitz II Birkenau. The memorial offers visitors an indoor and outdoor permanent exhibition on the history of the site.

The municipal museum in this village near the Orlik reservoir opened in June 2009. It hosts a number of short-term exhibitions.
