We operate an open-air museum of old arts and crafts and an experiential open-air museum of the Hussite way of life, culture and warfare. The building houses a folk and manor inn, main hall, armoury, torture museum, fencing room, attic hall and prop stores. According to legend, a secret exit from the Tabor underground was located here.

You will find permanent exhibitions of the Hussites, Tábor - the fortress of the righteous and the royal city, the Gothic hall of the Old Town Hall and the Kotnov lookout tower. We offer exhibitions, lectures and natural history excursions for children and adults. We manage specialist libraries and carry out archaeological excavations.

In the premises of three historical houses, on an area of over 1000 m2, the museum presents and maps the history of chocolate, its cultivation, import to Europe and subsequent processing into the form of candies, bars, pralines, figurines. The second part of the museum is dedicated to marzipan and the possibilities of its processing.

An exhibition of over a hundred old farm machines, implements, tools and implements such as wagons, threshers, ploughs, harnesses and almost all the machinery formerly used.

Discover the historic mill with displays of period machinery, tools, equipment and furniture. You will see the reconstructed mill chute, the original bakery where bread was baked, and agricultural machinery in the open air. In an authentic setting, you will be treated to the fascinating story of a miller's family and everyday life.
