In the remains of the metallurgical complex there is an exposition of the iron industry of the central part of the Moravian Karst. The ground floor of the building is devoted to the beginnings of iron metallurgy, while the first floor focuses on the blast furnaces and especially the actual building and operation of the smelter. There are also moving models installed here.

Museum Operations.

We run a museum with a permanent exhibition of traditional housing, archaeological excavations, mining, mineralogy and ironwork.

The museum is located in the Blansko Chateau. It offers permanent exhibitions of Blansko art cast iron, Paintings from Moravian Switzerland, Historical interiors, Castles of Blansko surroundings and Journey to the prehistory of Blansko. The museum also offers seasonal exhibitions, educational programmes, theatres, concerts, lectures and other cultural events.

We operate a visitor centre with interactive indoor and outdoor displays and a 3D cinema. We have special programmes for schools, nurseries and organised groups.

We operate an archive of books, correspondence and manuscripts of writers and otherwise culturally active figures whose work was mostly produced in opposition to the former communist regime. You will find here the archives of Pavel Kohout, Jiří Gruša, Ota Filip, Lumír KUchař and Jan Trefulka.

In the small caving museum, visitors can learn how cavers work or what can be found underground.

Museum from clock parts to airplanes. A look at the history of communication technology, means of transport, mechanical music, ironwork, metalwork, water and steam engines, as well as old crafts. A technical playroom is designed for children. It operates technical relics. The offer is extended by other events.

We are collecting and creating a collection of items from the years 19581989 for our retro museum. We offer a permanent display of design and lifestyle from the 1960s to the 1980s, including iconic products such as irons, vacuum cleaners and plastic toys. Our collection illustrates the everyday life and nostalgia of this era.

We run a museum focused on the history of beekeeping in the region.

The representative Art Nouveau villa was occupied between 1913 and 1939 by the family of Alfred and Marianne Löw-Beer, Greta Tugendhat's parents. Today the villa houses the permanent museum exhibition "Jews in Moravia. Villa and its inhabitants", a freely accessible garden with a gallery and a café.

The museum is engaged in the professional collection of documents and documents that tell about the material and spiritual culture of the Roma from the earliest times to the present. In addition to programmes and workshops, the museum offers guided tours of its permanent exhibition, The Story of the Roma, and lectures for schools.

We operate a coin museum. In the exhibitions you can find the Treasury of the Romanovs, the Hall of Revolutionaries, the Emerald Window or the Lodge of the Warlords.
