Permanent exhibition describing the history of Kuřim from the Stone Age to the present.

We operate an archive of books, correspondence and manuscripts of writers and otherwise culturally active figures whose work was mostly produced in opposition to the former communist regime. You will find here the archives of Pavel Kohout, Jiří Gruša, Ota Filip, Lumír KUchař and Jan Trefulka.

Museum from clock parts to airplanes. A look at the history of communication technology, means of transport, mechanical music, ironwork, metalwork, water and steam engines, as well as old crafts. A technical playroom is designed for children. It operates technical relics. The offer is extended by other events.

We operate a cultural monument and museum of the miller's craft. We offer tours with expert commentary by a miller. It is possible to see the mill building, the machinery needed to process the individual products and the water weir with sluice. We organise educational events for the public. The Mahen Memorial is a unique multifunctional place and was created not only as a reminder of the life and work of Jiří Mahen, but also as a realization of his ideas about the library as a cultural and community centre. It hosts lectures, author readings, exhibitions, plays, events for children and creative writing courses.

The branch has a permanent exhibition The Life and Work of Leoš Janáček, located in the garden house where the composer lived from 1910-28.

The representative Art Nouveau villa was occupied between 1913 and 1939 by the family of Alfred and Marianne Löw-Beer, Greta Tugendhat's parents. Today the villa houses the permanent museum exhibition "Jews in Moravia. Villa and its inhabitants", a freely accessible garden with a gallery and a café.

We provide an exhibition about the life and work of the founder of genetics Gregor Mendel. We offer lectures on genetics. We publish the journal Museologica Brunensia, which publishes scientific papers in the field of museology and museum studies. We run the Mendel Genetic Clinic. We give tours of the abbey.

We operate a museum. There are exhibitions of Mendel's refectory, Eliška Rejčka and the Cistercian women, gallery of profane art, gallery of sacred art, Augustinians in Brno and Abbey insignia.
