The Museum of the Village of Southeast Moravia. Here you will find folk architecture from the 18th century onwards, examples of original building techniques, folk crafts, traditional agriculture and animal husbandry, the history and development of viticulture and original crop varieties. Every year we prepare programmes for children and thematic events.
We operate a wine museum with an exhibition of viticulture and fruit growing. We organize social events. During the summer season, refreshments and a wine cellar are available in the Hotařská bouda.
We are a modern visitor centre of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. There is a shop with regional products. You can take a look at the interactive exhibition and learn about the attractions of the White Carpathians.
We offer a tour of the permanent exhibition From Doubrava to Javořina, which focuses on the archaeology, history and folk culture of Veselsko, Strážnice and Horňácko. We also regularly organize short-term exhibitions.
Museum of Habanese History. There is an exhibition of Habanese ceramics, a model of a Habanese house and a found Habanese kiln in Vacenovice. The exhibition is supplemented with textual information and pictorial material on the history and life of the New Christians.
The municipal museum with archaeological findings is part of the Multipurpose House. Artifacts from the Stone Age to the modern era are on display, as well as replicas of prehistoric vessels and a model of the village as of 1827. The museum is run by members of the local Friends of History Society. Voluntary entrance fee.
Functional windmill. In the surrounding buildings there is an exhibition of Highland housing and local farming from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
