We operate a museum. The museum has a reading room and a study room. Here are exhibited the oldest surviving documents relating to the village, extensive photo documentation, a collection of old romance books, calendars, old religious literature and printed materials.
The Museum of Village Life with a collection of Haná-Slovak costumes, Easter eggs, ceramics and agricultural tools. A photo shoot in period clothing can be arranged.
We hold various short-term exhibitions in the oldest building in the town - a listed 16th century Renaissance mansion. We also offer tours of the permanent exhibitions: the Prehistory of the Kyjov Region, Folk Culture in the Kyjov Region and Nature of the Kyjov Region.
We operate the T.G. Masaryk Museum. There is an exhibition of period photographs and documents related to his life. The museum is located in the house where he lived with his parents from 1856 to 1862.
The Military Museum is dedicated to the most famous native of the village of Vlkoš (near Kyjov), the Army General, Minister of National Defence of the government in exile in London, Sergej Jan Ingr. Other expositions in the museum MUDr. K. Macháček, MUDR. Z. Vítek, Colonel V. Ingr. World War I and World War II. Exposition of the Czech Armed Forces in missions.
Museum of Habanese History. There is an exhibition of Habanese ceramics, a model of a Habanese house and a found Habanese kiln in Vacenovice. The exhibition is supplemented with textual information and pictorial material on the history and life of the New Christians.
We are a modern visitor centre of the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. There is a shop with regional products. You can take a look at the interactive exhibition and learn about the attractions of the White Carpathians.
We operate a regional museum with exhibitions of historical furniture, collections of sculptures, paintings and ceramics of local natives. The museum also includes a sports hall.
