The Military Museum is dedicated to the most famous native of the village of Vlkoš (near Kyjov), the Army General, Minister of National Defence of the government in exile in London, Sergej Jan Ingr. Museum of Habanese History. There is an exhibition of Habanese ceramics, a model of a Habanese house and a found Habanese kiln in Vacenovice. The exhibition is supplemented with textual information and pictorial material on the history and life of the New Christians.

We hold various short-term exhibitions in the oldest building in the town - a listed 16th century Renaissance mansion. We also offer tours of the permanent exhibitions: the Prehistory of the Kyjov Region, Folk Culture in the Kyjov Region and Nature of the Kyjov Region.

The memorial to Oldřich Pechal and Svatopluk Štulíř in Vřesovice is open all year round. The memorial is located at number 72 of the municipal office building. The permanent exhibition is directed to foreign and domestic resistance. A video presentation is prepared for schools and larger groups.

The Museum of the Village of Southeast Moravia. Here you will find folk architecture from the 18th century onwards, examples of original building techniques, folk crafts, traditional agriculture and animal husbandry, the history and development of viticulture and original crop varieties. Every year we prepare programmes for children and thematic events.
