Exhibition of expositions dealing with ethnography, mineralogy of Bohemian Paradise and Podkrkonoší, zoology, history and ethnography of Lomnicko, hunting and sports exhibition or the Memorial of the Šlecht family. The gallery focuses on the works of important regional artists.

During the year you can see exhibitions on various themes in the museum. The current offer can be found on the website. The museum also manages a permanent exhibition of medicine and organises a visit to the Church of St. Peter and Paul with a view of Semily from the church tower from June to September.

Exposition of healing.

The old school building, which dates back to 1799, is the most important monument of Stara Paka. It is a timbered building with a carved gable, which has been preserved in its original form to the present day. It is now a state cultural monument.

The Museum was founded in 1891 in connection with preparations for the Czechoslovak Ethnographic Exhibition in Prague. The director of the girls' schools, Jáchym Metelka, was responsible for its establishment.

Operation of the cultural museum.

We run a railway museum. Our collections include historic locomotives, carriages and other railway artefacts. Our aim is to preserve and bring the fascinating world of railways to all visitors.

We offer expositions focused on geological development in the Podkrkonoše Basin or precious stones. It is also possible to see a patrimonial exposition, an exposition of spiritualism and other historical collections.

We operate a historical exposition of the city. Exhibition space is available on the ground floor of the building.

The Balka Paleopark is part of an entertainment and educational project focused on the geological past of the local landscape. The site of the fossil and carnelian site has a complex where you can try out various activities with a geological theme, lectures and various occasional events are also held.

We run a town museum where you can learn about the history and life in Železnice. In the permanent exhibitions you can see the works of important native inhabitants of Železnice. We exhibit a furnished merchant's shop or a timbered cottage. We also provide exhibitions of contemporary artists, which are regularly renewed.
