The museum not only traces the interesting 700+ year history of the town, but above all focuses on the origin, processing and use of slate, which is characteristic of our area.

In the museum you can see exhibits related to the history of Potštát and its surroundings, from the time when Potštát belonged to the Walderode family until the end of the 20th century.
