A unique collection of meteorites from around the world. Hundreds of exhibits including very rare meteorites from the Moon or Mars. Guided tours with the possibility of quarrying some of the stones. Lectures by interesting guests, documentaries, library, coffee, our space shop and much more.
The museum exhibits exhibits donated directly by the citizens of the village, as well as those from the former flax mill and the Research Institute of Flax in Šumperk. Another important role in the history of the village is played by slate, about which you can learn a lot of information in the museum.
Exhibitions devoted to the origins and activities of the village, speedway, silver mining, railways, local manufacturing, World War II or farming in the past. There are also unique displays of aerial archaeology.
We operate a museum. There is a permanent exhibition about the nature and history of the village, the life and work of Josef Kalus and last but not least seasonal exhibitions of contemporary artists, craftsmen, collectors and others.
We run a permanent exhibition of historical craft tools and everyday objects, folk costumes and exhibits with a mining theme. You can also find an exposition of the Sedlišt'any Ethnographic Association, the Rozkvět Mining Association and the Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Mineralogical, petrographic, paleontological and mineral collections are concentrated and displayed in the pavilion. The Geology Pavilion serves a pedagogical, scientific research and general educational function. In addition to university students, it is also open to high school students and primary school pupils.
