The exhibition commemorates the life and work of Tomáš Vitek, who lived in Skalička for many years, but otherwise spent his life mainly building ships and travelling around the world.
The Birthplace of František Palacký offers a permanent exhibition dedicated to the life and work of this important historian and politician, together with the history of the village of Hodslavice, where Palacký was born.
The museum organises exhibitions, expositions and cultural events, operates specialist workplaces, publishes publications and provides information about the history and cultural heritage of the Novojičín region.
In the museum you can find the Memorial Hall of ThDr. Jaroslav Studený, the Museum of Agricultural Technology or How to Live, Farm and Live in the Countryside and the Memorial Hall of Prof. Lumír Pivovarský.

The Slovak Strela Depository is a unique place where the legendary Slovak Strela engine set is exhibited. It can be found opposite the entrance to the Tatra Truck Museum in Kopřivnice.
A listed semi-wooden cemetery church from the second half of the 16th century inside which you can see a lapidarium with historical stone and wooden artefacts and partially restored original architecture. The church also includes an adjacent park with a nature trail.
The empire chateau with its extensive park attracts visitors with its modern multimedia exhibition Man in the Landscape, Landscape in People, attractive exhibitions, the chateau café and playrooms and educational rooms for children. The building is wheelchair accessible thanks to a lift, and there are also special rooms for mothers with young children.
