Capturing the history of the community with a focus on the firefighting movement and the manufacturing program of the former firefighting equipment factory. Exhibits show the evolution of firefighting equipment from the manufacture of hand-powered engines, to horse-drawn sprinklers, to modern powerful machines with centrifugal pumps.
We run a museum with a collection of historic carriages and lanterns. We offer services in the field of historical horse-drawn carriages. We provide demonstration rides and tours of the countryside, historic sites and landmarks with a costumed coachman and footman. We arrange funeral processions.
Due to the planned reconstruction works at the castle, the museum is divided into the Zdeněk and Jan Svěrák Film Exhibition and the Fairytale World of Zdeněk and Jan Svěrák.
The Ludéřov granary is a remnant of a former fortress from the 14th century which was rebuilt into a chateau at the end of the 17th century. The civic association U nás has reconstructed the entire building and it is now open to the public. Inside there is an exhibition about the history of the fortress, the chateau, the farmyard and the nearby Celtic shrine.

We collect technical items related to the local area. We concentrate on military and historical technology, woodworking equipment, caving and mining. There is a campground for tents and RVs on the museum grounds.
We offer tours of a declassified bunker from the 1970s. The former military facility served as a strategic telephone exchange. It used to house communications cables. The flagship cable was designed to carry up to 1,920 calls at a time and provide communication between Warsaw Pact countries in wartime. The building was top secret.
The museum displays mostly smaller three-dimensional objects from history to the present (uniforms, tools or equipment), with the larger exhibits including a 1924 horse-drawn, combination syringe.
