In the very heart of Hradec Králové, a new space has been created that will guide visitors through the story of the PETROF brand - from the oldest surviving piano from 1865 to current technological innovations. The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to take a look into the world of pianos, history and PETROF itself.

The Museum of East Bohemia in Hradec Králové is a contributory organization established by the Hradec Králové Region. It has a regional competence, but in many activities it crosses the borders of the region. It is one of the ten largest museums in the Czech Republic. The museum manages about 3 million collection items.

In the museum you can see the cooper's workshop with finished products of various sizes and types, including historical documents, objects and tools. We will tell you what butter has to do with cooperage, how the volume of barrels and vats was calculated and what the different types of planes are.

We offer a castle tour of the Pernštejn Residence - Renaissance in Bohemia, tours of the town (in the footsteps of the Pernštejn family, modern architecture) and the civil defence shelter. Visitors can visit temporary exhibitions and permanent exhibitions - archaeology, numismatics and glass.

We operate a city museum focusing on documentation and photographs from the expeditions of Dr. Emil Holub. We organize short-term social events and exhibitions.

Exposition of folk architecture of the Hradec Králové region.

Meet in the centre of Pardubice with the stories of the Memory of the Nation. In Machoňův pasáž you will find the Institute of the Memory of the Nation with an interactive exhibition Silent Heroism (from 17 November 2023 with new stories of the 1950s) and every Monday from 18:30 you can visit a talk with an interesting guest on a historical or current topic.

Operation of environmental education centre. There is an interactive exhibition dedicated to nature and the Natura 2000 system.
