In Machoňův pasáž you will find the Institute of the Memory of the Nation with an interactive exhibition Silent Heroism (from 17 November 2023 with new stories of the 1950s) and every Monday from 18:30 you can visit a talk with an interesting guest on a historical or current topic.

The memorial is located on the memorial grounds of a former Nazi execution site. During the second martial law in 1942, 194 victims lost their lives here.
