We run a village history museum. There are preserved exhibits on loan from the Regional Museum in Most, including exhibits depicting life in the village inside the buildings and a depiction of a period school. However, there are also wooden toys, the production of which had its origins in the village in the second half of the 18th century.

The permanent exhibition presents the history of Velvar and its surroundings. The museum organises short-term exhibitions, cultural and educational events, children's programmes and poetry days. Tourist stamps, business cards and Czech tourist cards available for purchase.

You know what corn husks are. We will be happy to tell you the history of the production from the leaves that surround the corn fruit. We have used this material to make moving scenes of the Bechlin Beetles and the Podříp Nativity scene.

The family home of the poet Joseph Hora houses an exhibition of family photographs, furniture, paintings and drawings by his siblings, family books and writings, references to the poet's work, posters and texts of events on the poet's anniversaries.

We operate a museum. We organize 6-8 thematic exhibitions a year, classical music concerts, lectures, discussions and publish the Kralupsko Homeland History Collection. Regular events: one of the venues of the Seifert Kralupy poetry and recitation festival.
