A permanent exhibition commemorating the history of the museum and the town. The founder was Ing. Jindřich Soukal. The museum was located in two rooms of the District House on the square in Venice I. As the first event, an exhibition of paintings was organized, combined with a demonstration of the first donated objects.

The museum is to use text panels, exhibits and at least one mannequin dressed in the appropriate military uniform to tell visitors the unique story of the site of the former Mladá Military Haven.

The museum is located in the rear part of the farmhouse, which is used by the Secondary School and Secondary School Horky nad Jizerou for vocational training. The students at this school are responsible for the creation of this museum. The museum is under the administration of the school management of the School of Secondary Education Horky nad Jizerou.

We provide a permanent exhibition of finds from the Polabí region from prehistoric times to the modern era, the development of basketry and exhibitions of contemporary art. During the year we organize concerts and lectures. We offer the possibility of organizing wedding ceremonies. There are also rooms available for rent.

Museum Operations. Offer of permanent exhibition of folk culture of the central Polabí region from the 18th to the 20th century. Part of the open-air museum consisting of cottages with furnished interiors.

Operation of a museum with a permanent exhibition of historic bicycles and motorcycles from 1885 to 1955. A number of period accessories such as bells, factory labels, locks, pumps and more are also on display. We now exhibit more than 70 bicycles and 60 motorcycles of Czech and foreign brands with a number of unique items.

We operate a cathouse decorated with Renaissance sgraffiti. In the basement of the execution room there is an exhibition dedicated to the law of throat and torture and the history of crime in cities in the 16th to 18th centuries. In the second part of the exposition, a torture chamber is installed, equipped with objects used for securing prisoners and for torture.

I run the Paper Napkin Mini Museum. At the end of 2018, it was registered by the Dobrý den Agency in Pelhřimov, awarded a certificate as the 1st mini-museum of napkins and entered into the Czech Book of Records and Curiosities. Visiting is possible by prior arrangement. Admission 1 napkin.
