The administrative building of the T. G. M. Rakovník Museum.

A factory for fun and work. A museum of shoes and hand tools for shoemakers, saddlers, satchel makers and upholsterers. Workshop for carpentry courses. Joinery music club.

The museum is located in the local castle in 3 exhibition rooms. On an area of 12 m2 you can see a unique model of the town dating back to 1720. The model includes moving figures, complete with sounds, it is also possible to light up all the cottages, including the castle and the church, via 180 keys.

In the interactive museum, visitors, especially the smaller ones, can get to know the exhibits firsthand. Dozens of small activities draw children into the everyday life of our ancestors in a fun way.

We operate a memorial hall. There are personal objects and documents of the important opera singer Milada Šubrtová.
