We run a permanent exhibition. We organize seasonal exhibitions, educational programs, lectures. We provide guided tours of the Štáfl's Bastion and the Monastery Church of the Holy Family in Havlíčkův Brod.

Museum with a permanent exhibition called "How life was many years ago". Here you can see sports or craft equipment, uniforms, telephones, cameras, paintings and interior furnishings.

We run a literary museum. We provide protection of museum collections. We acquire, permanently preserve, process and make accessible collections of documents on the development of literature in the Czech lands.

The Jan Zrzavý Memorial Hall was opened in Krucemburk in 2002. Visitors can learn many interesting facts about the painter's life. There is a rich pictorial documentation including reproductions of some of his works.

Running a farm museum. The national cultural monument Michael's Farm preserves the building sensibility of the agricultural peasant in the Svetel region in the period between the end of the Thirty Years' War and the abolition of robots in the Czech Kingdom, i.e. between 1648 and 1848. At the same time, it shows the life, work and customs of the time.

Exposition of folk architecture in East Bohemia. Scenes for the films Lotrando and Zubejda, The Seven Ravens and the Circus Humberto series were filmed in the open-air museum. It is possible to organize a wedding ceremony in the Veselokopec chapel, in the world room of the farmhouse or in the area in front of the mill.

Operation of an exhibition commemorating the life and work of Jaroslav Hašek.

The museum is located on the square in the former rectory building next to the church of St Philip and St James. Visitors can see a haunted exhibition in the cellar. In the exhibition hall there is an exhibition about life in Horace and there are other short-term exhibitions and talks.

Expositions in the premises of the former water mill refer to the iron tradition of the Žďár region. Visitors will learn how medieval ironworkers obtained the basic raw materials, i.e. wood, charcoal and iron. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the last inhabitants of the building, the Brdíček family.
